This group brings together families who do not use mainstream education.
Running every Friday from 1.30pm - 3.00pm during term time.
Offering peer support, a chance to relax and the use of facilities in our Drop In Social Hub, including, table tennis, pool, air hockey table football, musical instruments and other games for all to use free of charge. Activities are suitable for ages 4+ (unless otherwise stated). This is a chance for you to meet other families in Alt Ed community and engage in activities with your children and other families.
There is also a chance to take part in organised activities such as arts and crafts, team games and climbing for a small charge.
Drop in to use the space for free from 1:30-3pm
Parents, carers and younger siblings are welcome to attend.
January will be a crafty month, with the theme of Astronomy!
- For little people, there will be the chance to make crafty binoculars and telescopes for imaginary play!
- Images of moons to be inspired by or to draw or draw around.
- For older children, the chance to make 3D moons & planets.
Varied art activities on offer for a £2.50 (suggested donation) to cover materials taking place within the Drop In Social Hub where you will also find our Cafe.
Parents/ Guardians are ultimately responsible for their children at all times during the Friday sessions.
