Open Up at OPEN brought to you by the Eastern Daily Press is a free event (no tickets required) looking at the many issues around mental health and well-being which directly impacts many of us.
We encourage people to attend as many of the below topics and debates which are relevant to you. The event has been set up with an open door policy to walk in at any point during the day!
Sessions and debates throughout the day will cover a wide range of issues, please see below the outline of our day:
8:30am: Doors Open
9:00am: BBC Radio Norfolk - Live debate on air with guests Norman Lamb, Dawn Peri, Dr Dan Dalton NSFT Chief Medical Officer and Philip Eke.
10:15am- 11:00am: Q&A with Norman Lamb
11:30am- 1:30pm Mental Health & Me - personal and inspirational stories from a range of speakers: Joe Tracini, Steve Hunt, Carly Rowena, Darren Eadie, Craig Hill from MIND and Naomi Farrow.
1:30pm- 2:30pm ‘My child and their wellbeing’- targeted at parents of all ages. With Guest Speakers: Gemma Lambert, Dr Kamena Henshaw, Nick O'Brien, Bill Belton and Sandie Woods.
2.30pm- 3.00pm: Breathing workshop with Abbie Eastwood and Suzie Bartram.
3:00pm- 3:45pm: Aviva's 'Norwich Together Alliance' tackling loneliness
4:00pm- 4:45pm: Mental health in the workplace.
5:00pm- 5:30pm: Yoga session
5.30- 6.00- Meditation
