All of our spaces are available for sponsorship at the following (per annum) rates:
With the best technical facilities and largest projection screen in the city, we can stage anything from a small meeting to a major conference with breakout rooms, full scale theatrical productions, orchestral concerts, awards ceremonies, banquets, launches or film screenings.
Our Banking Hall is the largest space at OPEN. Over 30,000 people visit it annually and the footfall is increasing dramatically year on year.
The hall can cater for up to 1,450 people standing, up to 500 seated lecture style and 250 cabaret style.
We have approximately 100 gigs in here a year and host festivals, conferences, fashion shows, sport screenings, award ceremonies, book launches, art exhibitions and much more.
Our Club is a more intimate space where we host smaller gigs, DJ evenings, comedy nights, private parties, jazz festivals, conferences, lectures and even wedding receptions. The Club caters for up to 300 standing, 96 seated and 50 people can be catered in cabaret style. This space is incredibly flexible with its own bar and entrance.
Our Drop In is the first port of call for young people in Norfolk. They can literally drop in or can be referred by partner agencies.
We offer immediate access to our youth workers who welcome young people and help them in any way they can, offering a listening ear in a non-judgmental manner.
Our Drop In space houses many recreational activities such as ping pong and air hockey and encourages a relaxed atmosphere where young people can be themselves and meet friends.
OPEN Café is a youth-run café available to the public throughout the day and exclusively for our young people between 3pm -7pm. The café is a tool to enable young people to train and gain work experience in catering and hospitality. It equips young people with skills such as communication, customer service as well as food preparation and how to eat healthily on a budget. Young people taking part in the OPEN Café programme will gain recognised accreditations to strengthen their CV. The café also serves healthy food & drink options as a way of promoting the importance of good nutrition to young people.
The OPEN Youth Trust also operates the SOS Bus in Norwich’s club & bar area on Friday and Saturday nights from 9.00pm – 3.30am. The bus is designed to meet the immediate needs of clients and offers immediate assistance to clients at risk. Such needs could be drug or alcohol related, emotional distress, social isolation caused by aggressive behaviour, lack of immediate finance or relationship breakdown. The bus is run by volunteers with the assistance of a Paramedic from the East of England Ambulance NHS Trust and members of St John’s Ambulance. It is kitted out to NHS standards and can deal with minor injuries cutting down on A&E attendances. If a client is unable to get home the team will arrange for a taxi or contact friends or relatives to arrange a lift home, or get the client to a place of safety for the night.
Our climbing wall stands at an amazing 12 metres tall – the largest indoor wall in Norfolk. We run a range of sessions for a variety of ages as well as courses and packages suitable for all abilities. We have routes for everyone regardless of age or ability. Making climbing available to disabled or disadvantaged people is of fantastic value. With the aid of mechanical devices our instructors are able to get anyone to the top of our wall. It is a fun enjoyable and adrenaline-filled experience!!
Within our dance studio we teach contemporary and street dance along with more traditional ballet, and also a drama class. This is where our young people rehearse all their performing arts and work towards our annual showcase at the end of the year which they perform to the public. It is amazing to watch young people grow in confidence and well-being whilst having fun and making friends!
Our newly refurbished gym is a great way for young people to improve their physical and mental health. Through taking part in boxing and mixed martial arts sessions young people will develop skills such as self-control and discipline, improving their confidence and self-esteem as they become fitter and healthier.
OPEN Gym aims to promote positive behaviour patterns and healthy lifestyle choices and we are very pleased to be able to offer sessions FREE of charge to young people aged between 11 & 19 years of age. This removes the cost that normally prohibits a young person accessing a gym. There are also opportunities for young people to gain accreditations in sports and train to become personal trainers. The membership cost to those over 19 is just £10 a month, significantly less than many city centre gyms.
