City-centre based youth charity, OPEN Youth Trust (OPEN) are recruiting enthusiastic, friendly, hardworking and versatile people with great interpersonal skills, who are interested in offering their free time to support their fundraising team throughout 2019.

OPEN was established in 2005 to provide opportunities for young people in Norfolk, including those who are most disadvantaged, with the longer term aim of making a positive difference to their lives.

Subject to an informal chat and DBS check, the successful candidates will be called upon to collect donations after OPEN’s live gigs and events, and to assist in the organisation and delivery of both internal & external fundraising events as the face of OPEN Youth Trust. Day & evening shifts available on an as & when basis.

Harriet Davies, Fundraising Coordinator said:  “Without a bank of volunteers, we would not be able to provide such a varied calendar of fundraising events, from a sponsored plank challenge, and a summer celebration to our Bishop’s Garden Open Afternoon in June, all of which raise vital funds for our work with disadvantaged young people, enabling us to continue delivering the variety of services and activities we have here at OPEN.  Anyone who volunteers for OPEN feel that they are doing something of value to help young people across Norfolk, and this is a great opportunity to make a difference in 2019. We would love to hear from anyone who feels they could offer their free time to support our fundraising team by joining our bank of volunteers, so please give me a call on 01603 252112 or drop me an email at harriet@opennorwich.org.uk, we would love to have you onboard.”
