Young people from the OPEN Youth Trust (OPEN) get to exhibit their work alongside local artists in a collaborative exhibition called "Time & Space".

The “Time & Space” art exhibition will be running at OPEN until Monday 11th December and combines the artworks of local, professional artists and young people who attend OPEN’s Art Groups.  There are two parts to the exhibition, one part in the Box Office at OPEN (located at the end of London Street) and another display of artwork in the Drop In Social Hub and Café on Castle Meadow, both can be viewed free of charge.

All works of art by the professional artists (including Hannah Nelson, Sally Franks and Sam Wren) will be on sale with 50% of sales being donated OPEN.

One young person, Callum Mcleod aged, 11 from Plumstead said: ““Making art has helped me to express my feelings!”, another Nour Saleh also aged 11 from Norwich said: “I want to have a career in art, when I’m older. Being involved in this exhibition is a great chance to practice exhibiting.”

OPEN Youth Worker, Becky Cross, who runs the art groups and who curated this exhibition said: “All the young artists who are exhibiting have worked hard on their pieces, each bringing their own individual expressive style to the group and I'm proud of what they have achieved.”
